Chef Papa Seck opened Tam Tam Restaurant in the fall of 2000, a restaurant fully dedicated to Senegalese Cuisine with global fusions in each dish. In 2015, after a successful 15 years enhancing the taste of many plates in the DMV, Chef Papa retired and directed his focus on family. Today, Chef Papa Seck can be found cooking delicious dishes for his wife, and 4 kids.

Chef Papa has infused flavors from his global travels – throughout Africa, United States, Europe, and the Caribbean –  into his dishes bringing his love for travel and food together in each ingredient and dish he creates.

Giving Back
Outside of the restaurant, Chef Papa works with The Source of Life Foundation to provide fresh fruits and vegetables to food deserts in Senegal in order to influence an increase in health conscious eating in every day lives
